Susie's Request for help in a time of serious need
Donation protected
Hello,
My name I Susie, the Leon Lifers know me as Pearl.
This fundraiser is the first I've ever done for myself.
I must say that this is the hardest time in my entire life. Seriously.
I took care of my daughter Denise for many years. She passed away July 5th. We lived in Az together for 15 yrs here and many years before that in Detroit. I took care of her for a couple of years there too. I have to say I'm a mess. Miss her so very much.
I haven't been able to work since May 11th of last year. I lost my job and couldn't start another because Denise was too bad and couldn't be left. After she passed, I could not be around more than two people at a time. I'm pretty much at home.
So, I had skin cancer on my nose. I am happy to say I had surgery to remove it on May 8th. Drs decided it was best to do this first and I agree. It's only getting worse with time. It's quite a healing process but I can hang. I just don't go anywhere because I don't want kids to see me and get scared. Am looking pretty scary.
Saw the spinal surgeon two weeks ago. He is looking to do the L4 and L5 work towards the end of June, or the first part of July. Then we'll figure out what's next. I have to have neck surgery, rotator cuff surgery and possibly one more back surgery. That's more than I've done in my entire life!
Here's the biggest issue. I have gone through all the money I had put away paying bills and house payments. I don't want to lose my house. I had a talk with my van about the weird noise I hear. Told it to hold on for 6 months. LOL
I am asking for help if you can give it. I truly hate having to ask, but I have no option.
If you can help me out, I'll be forever grateful. My puppy and two cats will be too.
Ahead of time, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'd be remiss if I didn't send a special shoutout to my Leon Lifers. They have been amazing and God Bless you. I will keep every one of you forever in my heart and prayers.
