Susie's Cancer Journey/Harvey help!

Cancer update: We are at MD Anderson seeing mom's amazing surgeon, Dr Tzeng, to get the results to the first postop CT scan and labs. Mom remains cancer free. Her cancer markers (labs) continue to go down. They are starting her on the Creon ($$$) and medicine for her nausea. Her weight is significantly down and they want to try and slow the rate of weight loss. She can have more variety in her diet now, but they want her to be on a high calorie/high protein/ low fat diet. They stated they would prefer her have more carbs and just control her blood sugar with medicine. They want her drinking more non-caffeinated beverages and to "avoid an empty stomach". They want her to eat every 3 hours and drink every 2 hours, but not at the same time. She has fluid in her abdomen, which they say is expected postop and it will absorb, but it can be a culprit in increasing her nausea. She will have another CT in 3 months. We see Dr Hassan, her oncologist, on 9/18 and will find out then if she will receive additional chemo prophylactically. Mom is about to get 4 shots, these are boosters and due to them removing her spleen during the surgery.

FEMA update: The inspector came yesterday morning and said we will find out their decision within 7-10 days. He did advise that we come to the house daily and turn off the AC and open all windows and doors to air it out. Hopefully, we receive good news.
