This is Susie. Or Susie Q on occasion. DeFran to those who knew her in highschool. DZines by Susie was her artist name. And oh boy do I have a collection of drawings she did. I will send a finished piece of Susie's art to anyone who donates. The more you donate the larger the piece.
Sue DeFrancisco died. I am her sister and was her roomie. I want her to be remembered well. The only person she ever hurt really was herself. Food addiction triggered by toxic family background. She loved Carol Burnett and thought farting was funny. She loved Kermit and Ernie and Bert * rubber duckie song* She was an all time great softball player for CHHSE during highschool. Got CHEATED out of her scholarship to college. She worked since a young age, first McDonalds then management in a hospital food service division. Sue always liked to party and one year she threw a halloween party with all the hospital peeps. From the hospital she continued in food service/quality control. Then, one year she and her partner decided to buy a franchise of a staffing company. She worked very hard and was quite successful up in Bethlehem, PA. Susan endured a lot of personal pain in her life. She lost her best friend by suicide at 18/19. She lost her ex partner after they split ALSO due to suicide. Her endurance for pain was stellar because she fought through stage 4 pancreatic cancer without surgery or chemo. Her other ailments at the time of her cancer diagnosis prevented her from seeking life saving measures. The measures would have killed her faster.
So she endured diabetes, heart disease, chrisosis of her liver, kidney stones, gallbladder removal, fibromyalgia, a lower lumbar spine that had bulges and herniations galore, no cartilage in her knees, and the occasional vertigo. Just to be able to laugh another day. Draw another day. Talk to her many friends another day.
I am Charlotte her sister. She has two insurance policies but they will cover cremation only. However, the rent for May is coming up fast and I won't have her portion of it. She was receiving social security benefits towards the end of her life, and on hospice at home. Then, she fell. Everything went kaplooey afterwards. Her blood work came back and all of her organs were failing. The cancer had metasticized and she had maybe a day before she passed.
Im still in shock. Morose. I truly need the help since just this past April 3rd i was hit on 295 Northbound by another car doing 75 mph. The initial impact slammed me into the guardrail on the left and the car and I launched off the guardrail into oncoming traffic, across 5 lanes of traffic to finally come to a stop by the brush/trees on the right side of the road.
Needless to say my car is a total loss.
I am losing 4K due to this accident because I could not afford gap insurance.
But yea, I could use some help. Just enough to get my feet under me again. I am placing a dollar figure on my grief at the moment.
Thanks for reading.
