Hi. I am Cheri McKnight, and my friends, Mary Ann Varquera, Becky Riojas, Stephanie Silva and other family and friends, are setting up this page for donations to help our dear friends with medical and daily expenses while Susie is in the hospital in Houston.
Chico and Susie are the sweetest people ever. They would never ask for assistance and this is just to help them with gas, food,lodging, missed wages and medical bills. They will be there for awhile and Josh and Jourdan will be going back and forth.
Susie thought she had sciatica pain since Nov when her back was hurting. She went to the ER on Thursday and they found a large mass in her kidney. They were finally able to get MD Anderson in Houston to take her so they flew her there and her husband and son drove there. They were going to remove her kidney but when doing MRI they found she had a brain tumor. They were going to remove brain tumor on Monday but postponed until Thursday.
So they were able to remove the brain tumor Thursday and she did great. She will be in ICU for a few days to monitor her. They have to wait 10 days to be able to do open heart surgery, since her heart is only working at 30% right now.
Once they take care of that they will focus on kidney and other issues.
