Hi there animal lovers , our baby kitten Sushi is only 9 months old, and instead of enjoying a happy carefree life, he has spent most of this year in and out of vet clinics fighting painful health problems.

Since January, Sushi has been suffering with an ongoing condition that has already led to five purse-string surgeries. Each time we hoped it would finally solve the issue, and each time we were heartbroken to see him continue to struggle.

After more tests, scans, and seeing the specialists at Southfields Veterinary Specialists, we have now been told Sushi urgently needs two major surgeries this Tuesday: a coloplexy and hernia repair.

Sushi is still just a baby. He should be climbing, playing, chasing toys, and enjoying life — not recovering from repeated procedures and facing another two major operations.

He is the sweetest, bravest little soul, and despite everything he still purrs, cuddles, and trusts us every day.

The total cost of surgery and treatment is over £7,000, which is more than we can raise alone in such a short time.

We are asking for help to give Sushi the chance to live a healthy life free from pain.
