Scott Suscovich Family Fund

Scott is a humorous, hard-working, and dedicated husband and father to two young children, ages 6 & 13.  He resides in Robbinsville, New Jersey and is a member of a Local Pipefitters Union.  In January 2016, Scott was shockingly diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer.  As a devoted fitness member and former lifting champion, this diagnosis came as a shock to Scott & his family, especially at his young age of 44.

While the prognosis seems hopeful, the diagnosis is grave, and the disease has not been kind.  What progressed the cancer from stage 3 to stage 4 was the fact that spots were found on the liver.  As a result, Scott underwent two liver resections prior to aggressive radiation treatments. Yet, Scott has been a trouper - he has worked at his physically labor-intensive job through two rounds of chemotherapy and one round of radiation.  He never stopped working during these treatments!  Scott values hard work and is incredibly humble.  That is why we have decided to create this page on his behalf.

Scott's impending surgery to remove remaining tumors on August 3rd will be massive, and will be followed another round of chemotherapy.  He has pushed himself to work as close to that date as possible, but once he is out of work, his family will struggle on one income.  Please find it in your heart to make a donation to this family so they can continue paying medical and day-to-day bills.  This account is being set up by his siblings.  We believe that he, his wife, and his children have exhausted many options without directly asking for help.  We want to see Scott enter the next phase of his treatment a little more worry-free.
