Susan Sgaglio is one of the most loving, caring and giving people we know. Everyone who knows her understands what a special person she is, and she has touched all of our lives in very meaningful ways. We want to use this page to keep everyone posted on the status of her recovery, and ask for support to help her get through this difficult time.
As many of you may know, Susan was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2015 and has been undergoing chemotherapy for the last several months. So far the treatment has been very taxing and she had a couple of rare and difficult complications.
Susan can really use our help right now. She has given up her apartment and relocated to begin treatment, has been unable to work and she will not be able to return to her job for several months after her chemotherapy has ended.
She has reached her halfway point and her interim test showed good results. Although her doctors believe she will have a positive outcome, she is currently in what they call a “gray area”. They have suggested that radiation therapy may be necessary, which of course Susan is hoping to avoid.
We would like to help raise enough money for Susan to manage her mounting medical bills, follow up care, travel expenses and most importantly alternative treatments, which are not covered by insurance.
Susan will be forever grateful for our support. She is looking forward to getting back to life and living again. Let’s continue to pray and remain hopeful for her complete recovery.
Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
With warm regards,
Damian, Julia, Brian and friends
