Susan’s struggle with pancreatic cancer

Hi I’m Katie, my mum Susan was diagnosed with terminal cancer in February 2023. She immediately started chemo and due to its side effects had to quit work, she was able to withdraw her supper, to fund what was left of her life which was estimated at 12 months. During a 4 week cycle she completes 3 courses of gruelling chemo that lasts for 3 days using a Elastomeric Infuser, suffering from side effects that can differ each time, and one week off to rest before it all starts again. Now having exceeded the life expectancy she was given the funds have dried up and she is struggling to make ends meet. Rent, electricity, phone and medical bills are piling up as well as the increased cost of food and transportation, the cost of living has her struggling to survive.
