Hi, on Oct 5, 2023 I suffered a stroke. This stroke caused me to have left side weakness. I stayed in ICU for 1 week after stroke and another week in a progressive care unit. I was then transfered to a skilled nursing facility where I received 2 weeks of PT and OT. I was discharged back to my home on Monday Nov 6. I am receiving home therapy to continue to regain my strength back. I live in a 2 story town home and am unable to walk up or down stairs safely. In order to be more independent I want to install a stair lift chair. Unfortunately, being a disable veteran on a fixed income I am not in a position to purchase or install said lift. And unfortunately this is not something the VA insurance will cover. I'm asking if you are able to help me fund this lift. But most of all I ask for your prayers that I will continue to gain more use of my life side so that I can be more independent. Thank you & God bless you!
