Susan's Knee Replacement

My mom, Susan Grice, has had knee troubles my whole life.  If you've been with her in person for more than a couple of minutes, you've probably seen her limping in pain.  For several years now, her knee joints have been slowly deteriorating to the point of losing all cusion between the bones to become bone-on-bone.  Ouch!!  She has said that on a pain scale of 1-10 she is almost always on an 8 in her left knee, even being awakened regularly in the night with pain.  She was able to have her right knee replaced 2 years ago, which made major improvements in her mobility and significantly reduced the pain.  She only seems to notice that knee in the cold (when the metal parts inside get cold) and she's described it feeling "heavy" when she's in water since those metal pieces don't float. :o)  She is desperately in need of having her other knee replaced, but her doctor is not in network with her current insurance.  She really wants to use this particular doctor because he does the surgery differently than her last experience: a less invasive approach, not using a thigh tourniquet, and not cutting through muscle which allows for an easier, less painful recovery and physical therapy routine.  He made us feel so at peace when we met with him and heard about his technique!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!  She is scheduled to have the surgery April 10th and just found out today she needs to raise $21,000 to cover the cost!  $6,500 has to be paid up front.

At less than 60 years old, she longs to be as active and free physically as she is mentally and spiritually...to be able to get in and out of the car, play with her grandkids, walk through a store, go up and down stairs, travel, etc.  PAIN and LIMP FREE!  Would you prayerfully consider helping her in this journey?  We can't do this without you!!
