My sister in law Susan Dacosin, received devastating news that shattered all our hearts. She has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Since she has been diagnosed, she has met with the oncologist, had a biopsy, done blood work, had a cat scan and a port placed in her chest. She has had 3 radiation treatments and will be enduring her second chemotherapy treatment on January 8th. She will then receive a PET scan on January 10th. The results will be reviewed and a decision on the best way to proceed forward will be determined. Susan's diagnosis carries a heavy weigh emotionally, but financially as well. Due to this illness, she will be temporarily unable to help with the daycare. Considering how dedicated she is to the children, this is going to be very trying for her. She was able to stop by a visit and hug the kids on January 6th. She was full of smiles hearing the kids scream Tu-Tu. We are still unsure if she will be able to get temporary insurance to help her with medical expenses. She is currently doing her treatment at Vidant Cancer Care. They have treated her with the upmost respect and excellent care. So Susan could benefit from help financially helping with things like, lodging, food, gas, phone bill, credit card bills, medicines, supplements and any other travel expenses that arise. I am asking in this vulnerable time in her life that we rally behind her as she takes on this fight. Every penny and every prayer counts. A little goes a long way and can help alleviate the stress of monetary issues. We sincerely appreciate all of the prayers, support, and encouragement. We are praying for a full recovery and will keep everyone updated. Moving forward into 2020, our main focus is to support Susan with her fight against cancer. Dear Cancer and Satan prepare to have your asses kicked. #cancersucks #withgratitudeteamsusansue
