Susan's Fight Against Cancer: A Journey to Save Her Life.
Donation protected
As many of you know, my wife Susan, has been battling lung cancer since May of 2024. Her journey has been filled with moments of hope, uncertainty, and immense strength! Unfortunately, we were told by the doctors in Scotland they could not offer her treatment of any kind.
With the support of so many, we were able to travel to Arizona for life-saving treatment, where the original tumor was responding well to treatment and shrank considerably, and we thought she was on the path to recovery.
However, after returning home to Aberdeen, Susan’s follow-up scans revealed a heartbreaking turn of events. The original tumor was shrinking, but a new tumor has now appeared, and it’s already grown to 2.4 centimeters in diameter in only 3 months. One again here in Aberdeen, there was no treatment they could offer her. This news has been devastating for both of us and we have shed many tears together, but we’re not giving up!
We are now seeking a second opinion and/or another round of treatment in Arizona, as Susan’s doctors last time were confident they could provide the care she needed to fight this cancer with everything she has. But in order to make this happen, we need your help.
We are asking for donations to cover the costs of:
Our flights to Arizona,
Treatment costs not covered by insurance (Co Payments).
I am a self employed taxi driver so if I can't work I dont get paid and to not be with her again during this time would be devastating for us both.
The cost of everything adds up quickly, and every little bit helps. We’ve have experienced so much kindness, prayers and blessings and we’re so grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. But now, we need to ask for your help again as we prepare for this next step in Susan’s fight.
We want Susan to have every chance to survive, and your support will give us the time, resources, and strength to get her through this together. If you are able to donate, we would be eternally grateful. And if you can’t, please share this campaign with others who might be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and kindness.
With love and gratitude,
Keith & Susan
