Susan’s Birthday Fundraiser to help a brother, see story
Donation protected
Hello everyone, this is Susan Weingarten Ciarfello, for my birthday, I am asking you to bless a brother in need.
Please let me tell you a story about my friend Scott, who I am hoping together we can help.
Years ago when I assumed a leadership role in the Patriot movement there were few people by my side, Scott was one of them. He played a great role in leading the charge with us to defend the Smithtown fire department, who was being targeted for flying a blue line flag. Scott has been with our group since the very beginning, a treasure in the patriot movement. Scott is also my brother in Christ.
Scott’s job has not been offering overtime shifts, which he depends on to survive financially. After paying child support and bills to “simply” live, he often finds himself with next to nothing in his bank account. He was asked to leave his old apartment due to the financial issues. Scott has been living out of his car since halloween, he just got approved for an affordable apartment but needs help getting the small chunk of funds for the new move.
I personally know Scott as a man of fine character, a working man who has held his job in the medical field, doing delivery jobs & uber after hours to help his situation, a man who never asks for anything, sometimes life just throws us a hardball.
After speaking with Scott and telling him it is not me or us who will be helping him, but his heavenly Father who knows all, he has agreed to let me share his story and has opened up to any support that may come in.
Brothers and sisters, it is times like these where we need to step in to support a brother or sister in crisis. I pray you understand the only thing that matters in life is the good that we have done to help another. Scott will be OK after this, paying lower rent each month, have a great day and may God bless this effort.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Sincerely,
Susan Weingarten Ciarfello
“My job has not been offering overtime at the moment and after paying child support, I'm only left with enough money for gas, right now I have -$15 in my bank account and just enough gas to get me to work tomorrow.”
“I'm in a dark place in life whenever something starts going good for me I get thrown backwards 500 steps.”
Note: I sent him a small amount to get him through the week but have created this GoFundMe for my birthday to help raise the funds to get him into his new affordable apartment. Please join me in blessing this brother, any little bit will help, please do what you can, all donations will be forwarded to Scott, anything over goal would be an added blessing, & please consider sharing this. Thank you for reading this and for any support that may come in.
