I have been friends with Susan McLeod for 20+ years.  I was with her when she beat ovarian cancer for the second time 18 years ago.   Unfortunately, the cancer returned 18 months ago.  She has undergone 2 more surgeries, 2 rounds of chemotherapy and one round of radiation.  We were told 2 weeks ago that there is nothing more that can be done.  The cancer has spread to her liver and pancreas.  I am raising funds for the family to pay for the medical expenses that are not covered by insurance and for her burial.   
Sue put up a very couragious fight.  She realized her dream of being a bestselling author of Soul and Shadow, Fire and Shadow and Shell and Shadow.  Unfortunately,  there is not a lot of money to be made being an author.   Her family, including me, want Sue to be buried with the dignity and respect she deserves.  If you prefer to give to a charity in Sue's name, you may give to either Gilda's Club www.gildasclubrochester.org/
