Help Susan’s Family With Arrangements

Donation protected
Very early this morning our mother gave her last breath, it was 12:25 a.m to be exact. She had her three children with her, along with her sister, nieces Nikki and Leah, and her significant other. We all surrounded her as she moved on, and it was quite beautiful.

She fought until the last day and made sure we all had a good laugh before she knew she’d be passing. We all spent her last days beside her, held her hand, shared memories and made sure she felt love. She gave us all memories that we will hold tight and cherish for a lifetime. She gave us lessons we will continue to live by and taught us strength we hadn’t known we had. There isn’t a day that will pass where she will not be thought of or remembered or a song you won’t get up and dance to knowing that’s exactly what she’d want.

Although our mother has passed she will live on within us in so many ways and never be forgotten. Just know, that Sue Lopa was one hell of a fighter!

Fly high mother, until we see you again. ❤️

Thank you everyone for the support. We will share with you all about her service when we finalize them.

If you would like to donate to the gofundme, that will all be going towards her service and celebration of life.

*UPDATE* Today is February 8th, 2019. Hello everyone, this is Grace Smith. I am Susan’s middle daughter. My family would like to thank each and everyone of you that has donated to our mothers cause. Unfortunately, our mothers time is going to be coming to an end sooner than later. The Doctor has talked to us and has explained to us that our Mom has only a week to two weeks left of her fight. Mom currently has said no to hospice because in her mind she is fighting still. Unfortunately the cancer decided other wise and has taken over her body. Right now family and friends are surrounding her and showering her with lots of love. Mom is sleeping a lot more now and she wakes up once in a while and can talk with us and then goes back to sleep. The doctor said that she will soon be sleeping all the time, very shortly. Basically our family is turning this Gofundme into a fund for our mom’s funeral service. If anyone can help our family with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all again, from our family to yours!!

*Update* Today is Jan, 15th. We want to thank each and everyone of you that have donated, and shared our post! Sue has gotten a 3rd round of chemo this past weekend. Before that 3rd round, she had spent almost a month in the Hospital due to her sodium and blood levels going so low. While in the hospital, the Doctors worked hard on figuring out a pain regimen for her. She is a fighter, and one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. Sue wants everyone to know, how much she appreciates everyone. She truly is fighting everyday to be around for her children and family. Please keep on praying for her and continue to have positive vibes. Thank you all again!!

On Friday, November 16th 2018, our dear friend Susan Lopa, was given a diagnosis of stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer. This is a very aggressive, fast spreading form. She has it in her lungs, liver and sadly her bones.
This form of the cancer is so severe that the Hospital did an emergency inpatient chemo the next day. For those that know Sue, know that she is a fighter and a strong woman! Sue and her family need our support more than ever.

Sue and her family live quite a distance from the Hospital and now there are many appointments in the future that she cannot miss. There are many bills that arise when Cancer rears it's ugly head and hopefully this page can alleviate some of the unnecessary burden on this family.

Sue has been there for her family and friends through thick and thin. She is one of the most loving and supportive woman I know!
So let's be there to love and support her and her family.
Share this page and please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you!
