A Cure for Susana

Susana Garcia-Villarino of Elizabeth is a wife and mother of two year old twin girls. Susana has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She had to leave her teaching job in the Elizabeth public schools where her husband, Jim, still teaches.
She and her husband have sought out an alternative, holistic healing approach as traditional medicine has only offered pallative care and pain management. The loss of her job and the cost of treatments, which are not covered by insurance, result in an added burden. Her friends, family and church community are seeking to raise funds to help Susana, Jim and their girls.
In addition, the following local fundraisers have been scheduled:
