Hello. My name is Anica Binder. In late August, my dad and others began noticing a change in my Mom's behavior. She began acting confused and struggling with her memory. The doctor initially thought it was the result of an E-coli UTI but after treatment, her condition worsened and she started having some balancing issues and losing use of her right arm. 

This past Thursday my parents met with a neurologist and they did an MRI. At first they thought my mom, Susan had a NPH but after the scan they discovered that she has a tumor on the left side of her brain. It is growing on the outside of the brain causing pressure on the frontal lobe thus causing all of her issues.

At this time, they are planning on doing surgery in about two weeks to remove the tumor. In the meantime they have placed her on medication to help reduce the swelling and keep her from having any seizures.

Currently my parents have no health insurance and are self pay.  And with my mom being sick she cannot work and my dad is currently limited in when he can work since he is taking care of my mom.  So I wanted to open up this fund in hopes that this will help them with the expenses that will arise over the next weeks and months. 

If you feel led to give, anything does help. But in the end, the most important thing we are requesting is PRAYER! Below is what my dad wrote on FB and I think he puts it best when it comes to praying for my mom.

"We know that with one word from God, this tumor could completely vanish and we are praying for one of those "But God" moments to take place.

Whatever path He chooses for us, we have decided that we will rejoice in Him through it all. He is a good Father and we know that He has us in His grip!

* Pray for Susan and our family as we walk down this path.
* Pray for our children, Anica and Austin, that God would give them peace.
* Pray for the doctors and medical team - that God would give them the grace and wisdom that they need as they care for Susan.
* Pray for God to step in and dissolve the tumor.
* Most of all...pray that through all of this, God would be magnified and His glory seen by all!"
