Team Susan Tyler

This past week has been the hardest week of my life. Last week my mom, Susan Tyler was diagnosed with brain cancer. I think it is impossible to properly prepare for news like this and it took me days just to digest what was happening to my beautiful mother. I found myself fall into a sense of shock, sadness, and a mental fog as we anxiously prepared for brain surgery to remove the tumor from her brain. She went into surgery on Thursday, August 30th and I am happy to report that the surgery was successful and the doctor was able to remove all of the tumor. However, as you can imagine, having brain surgery has its cons. Even though the surgery was a success, there are still weeks to months of recovery to regain her full strength and health. For any of you that know my mom Susan, you know she is a fun loving, kind, compassionate person who is always looking to make others around her happy before herself. She is strong and confident that she can get through this long recovery process of therapy and rehab but I believe having the support of family and friends behind her would make it that much easier. I am making this fund in order to help my mom get through this process by not having to worry as much about the horrible medical bills that will follow her. She stressed to me that she doesn’t want to make anyone feel inclined to help her with this charity but any of your kind donations would be a great help to our family.
