As many of you know, Susan Thieneman passed away peacefully in the hospital on February 14, 2024, of a brain aneurysm suffered at her home on Saturday night. Susan left this earth surrounded by friends and family who loved her and cherished her friendship.

We know that Susan touched many lives and had a servant’s heart. Whether she knew you for a week, a few months, five years or her whole life, Susan loved her friends and always had room for more. All those that knew her were changed by her outgoing Christ like spirit and willingness to serve others. Her smile was contagious, and she lived life to the fullest. It was evident that there was nothing more important to her than her family and God. If you were blessed to have her in your life, you witnessed what God has asked us to be here on this earth. She was a loving wife and mother, caring friend, and a joy to be around. We were all better for being able to call Susan Thieneman our friend. She will be greatly missed, but the precious memories we all have of our time with her will get us through the days ahead.

Many of Susan’s friends have been asking how they can help. This GoFundMe fundraiser will help the Thieneman family with various expenses for their children and for Susan’s funeral expenses. This is our chance as family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances to bless Tim and the children – Barrett, Anton and Kristiana. Susan’s visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Ratterman Funeral Home at 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40243.

The Funeral will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Southeast Christian Church (Crestwood Campus) located at 6220 Crestwood Station, Crestwood, KY 40014.
