Susan Sochowski Medical Fund

On January 9, our beloved Susan Sochowski, who is a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and RN, suffered a massive, debilitating stroke. She underwent brain surgery on Monday, January 10 to stop the bleeding, and remains in ICU with no responsiveness on her left side. She isn't awake yet, but when that happens, she faces acute rehabilitation in a long term care facility.

 

Expenses are already mounting. Loss of employment for both Susan and Mark, even with insurance, will result in a huge income deficit, not to mention insurance deductibles, long term care needs, and travel and food expenses for her family.

 

We are all very hopeful for a good recovery, and just as we know Susan trusts in her Savior to meet her needs, so do we! We look to the Lord for strength, and we remember these words: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
