Hi, Mikey here. A few of you reading this will know already, but in spring of 2025 my wonderful Mum was diagnosed with a rare form of bowel cancer. This was soon followed in the summer by a diagnosis of dementia. As Mum did not qualify for the extra care she needed, I put my life on hold to become her full time carer. (So if you have not seen me around for quite a while now you know why).

However, Mum has now died after a massive stroke and it has really hit me quite hard. I'm devastated and not sure I'll ever get used to her being gone. As it was all so sudden there was no time to prepare financially for the things ahead. This is the reason I have started this page and am reaching out to anyone who is kind enough to help. I am trying to raise money for a funeral, a cremation and then for probate so that her possessions can be taken care of.

I know none of you knew her like I did and that this is a long shot, but all I'm asking is the chance to give my Mum some peace and dignity and for a little help from those of you who can. I'd very much like to lay her to rest before the end of the year but without your help I won't be able to.
