Hi friends and family. Imagine opening your front door and having a wall of water and mud rush in. In Houston you could imagine this after Hurricane Harvey but it’s rare in the Bay area This was the situation for my niece Susan very early on December 31st. A nearby creek and the rains in Castro Valley, CA were the cause of this disaster. She was able to grab her dog, her purse and a quilt made by her mom, and get out through a window. The red arrow points to her front door and the mud continues inside. ALL of her belongings are lost. Please remember her in your prayers and if you’d like to contribute I will send donations to help her get clothes and essentials. It would be comforting for Susan to know she’s not alone in this.
