This is my mom, Sue. If you know her, you know what a wonderfully kind, selfless, and silly person she is. She has this magic talent of being loved by everyone she meets. She has myself (her daughter), her son, Jonathan, and her husband, Darryl as her family. She also has two sisters and a brother, two nieces and one nephew. It's a pretty big Polish family between us all!
In November 2017, my mom was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her liver, kidney and the bone of her hip. We only discovered this when she fell and broke her hip unexpectedly. My mom has received both radiation and chemo, but now that we are a year later, the cancer has spread to her spine, brain, and more.
My mom is the most kindhearted person you've probably met, and this diagnoses is completely unjust. Never in a million years could any of us imagine "Sue" and "cancer" in the same sentence. My mom is hard working, in fact she brags about how much she loves her job at Apple Rehab. She has friends all over the country that love her as much as the ones down the street. Between friends, family, friends of the family, we've all taken this to heart and are doing everything possible to help her through a very serious time of need.
Mom has not been to work since the most recent hospitalization, and has been resting from the radiation and chemo. While it is best for her to recuperate, hospital bills, treatments, transportation, and regular expenses do add up.
I am asking my friends, my family, our family friends, and anyone that has had a impact from my mom to please share what you can. Every little bit will help; and if you are unable to donate, that's okay too - we just ask that you help us spread the world to reach as many people as possible.
Thank you for your time, please keep my mom and family in your thoughts and prayers.
