Hi. I'm Stephen Hogan and I'm raising money to support my family following the sudden passing of my mother. Typing those last few words will always feel impossible.

On Sunday February 4th, my family began our sudden journey through grief when my mother, Susan Hogan, unexpectedly passed away early in the morning. Like the blazing light she was, her sudden and final absence has completely disoriented and devastated us. My father has lost his one true life partner: his best friend, partner-in-crime. My sister and I lost our mother: our teacher in all things love and kindness; who taught us to love the act of expression and to express ourselves without hesitation or apology.

As we grieve the loss of my mother, my family has been faced with significant challenges: unexpected medical and memorial costs, administrative fees, and lost wages. The uncertainty around these obligations has filled my family with dread when we should be celebrating the life we were able to share with my mother.
