Susan Benedict's Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,
The unprecedented Eaton fire forced my long-time friend Susan Benedict to evacuate her residence in Altadena with only a few moments' notice. On her way out the door she was able to grab a go-bag, purse and phone -- and that is all she has left. Her home has been burnt to the ground and all her personal possessions have been destroyed. There is no insurance.
Susan is a chiropractic physician and has dedicated her life to helping people in Los Angeles with their health problems for many years. She has always been a pillar of strength and generosity, and has helped many of us who could find help nowhere else. And now she needs some help herself.
So now, in her time of need, we have the opportunity to give back to her. We are reaching out to you to ask for your support in helping Susan to restore her home and office so she can find personal stability and resume her work.
You can help by
-- Donating. Literally any amount, large or small, will make a significant difference in Susan's journey to recovery by helping her to replace essential belongings that she has lost.
-- Sharing. Please share this campaign with your network. The more people who know about Susan's situation, the greater the support we can gather.
--Emotional Support. If you're unable to contribute financially, your emotional support, prayers and words of encouragement are equally as valuable. We know that right now times are tough for many, and any form of assistance is deeply appreciated.
Together we can help Susan recover and rise from this tragedy. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
(This campaign is being organized by friends of Susan Benedict, and this posting specifically is by Diane Holmes of Nashville, Tennessee. Any funds received will go directly to Susan with no intermediaries.)
