Survivor of Gun Violence — Support Mikayla’s Recovery

My daughter Mikayla is going through unimaginable pain. She recently lost her beloved partner, who was tragically shot nine times and killed while protecting her. Mikayla herself was shot five times—but by a miracle, she survived.

Right now, Mikayla is unable to walk, work, or care for herself and her baby. She is mentally and emotionally devastated, grieving deeply while also facing the physical trauma of her injuries.

Her partner was the one providing for her and the baby. Now, she is struggling to cover basic needs—rent, bills, and daily living expenses. On top of everything, the police took her phone and car as part of their investigation, leaving her without access to transportation or communication.
