Hi, my name is Anya, and I’m reaching out for help after surviving a life-threatening medical emergency.

On Christmas 2024, a cyst holding a flesh-eating bacteria ruptured without warning. Within days, the infection spread rapidly — from just over my hip to my groin. I was rushed to the ER and then transferred to the hospital, where doctors performed three emergency surgeries to remove the infected tissue. The surgery left me with an open wound for months, and the recovery was long and difficult.

As a massage therapist, I rely on commission-based income, so when I couldn't work during my recovery, I had no source of income. Although I’m back at work now, I’m still behind on medical bills and struggling to catch up on my mortgage and utilities. The hospital graciously waived the main surgery bill, but I still face thousands in medical costs for the ambulance, radiology, and physicians.
