For those who know my sister Kinesha, you know her babies are her entire world. She’s a single mom of three and has always been their rock; working nonstop, giving everything she has to make sure they’re cared for and loved.
Early Saturday morning, on her very first day on call as a home health nurse, she was driving to see a patient in an unfamiliar area. The fog and rain were thick, the sun hadn’t come out yet, and she couldn't see the on-coming vehicle before it was too late, resulting in a full speed, head on collision. Her car flipped, rolled, landed back on its wheels, and was completely totaled.
Kinesha came out alive, which is a miracle, but with a broken collarbone, a deep gash in her knee, and bruises and cuts covering her body. Her dominant arm is immobilized, and she can’t bear weight on her left side. Doctors say she may need surgery and months of recovery and physical therapy before she can work again.
As many of you know, Kinesha is a single mom who never asks for help. She’s the type who would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. But now she needs us. This GoFundMe will help cover her bills, groceries, gas for appointments, and essentials for her three kids while she’s out of work for the next 8–12 weeks, possibly through Christmas.
Anything you can give helps more than you know. If you can’t donate, please share this and send prayers and love for her healing. My heart is breaking for her, but I’m grateful she’s still here. Thank you for helping me lift her up in this hard time.
