We are reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult time for our family. Our daughter, Ray'Maria Tyson, a high school senior set to graduate in May 2026, was recently involved in a horrific head-on collision that has left her with severe injuries and a long road to recovery. Ray'Maria has always been a kind-hearted, joyful, and determined young woman. While maintaining Principal’s List honors, she worked two jobs and recently achieved her dream of being accepted into the nursing program at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, where she planned to begin this fall.
As a result of the accident, she has suffered multiple serious injuries, including fractures to both hips and her wrist in two places. She was airlifted to a trauma center in Albany and has already undergone two surgeries, with a third scheduled for Wednesday. Despite everything she has endured, her strength and resilience continue to inspire us—she was even able to come off all pain medications just days after the accident. Unfortunately, her injuries will prevent her from returning to school for the remainder of the year, and she now faces extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and physical therapy.
The financial burden of her emergency transport, surgeries, hospital stay, and ongoing care is overwhelming. We are asking for any support you can give—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—to help ease the financial strain and allow Ray'Maria to focus fully on healing. We are truly grateful for every prayer, kind word, and contribution during this time. Thank you for standing with Ray'Maria as she begins this journey toward recovery. We are blessed beyond measure and holding onto hope every day.
