My wife and I had the privilege to meet and spend a week with Gavis Muliika in Uganda in January, before the entire world changed. Gavis is a kind, proud man of great integrity. As a safari guide the pandemic has taken away his means to support his wife, his son and his extended family, all who depend on him as the sole provider.
This is a difficult time for many of us. And a time to help others when we can. Each dollar you donate will make a difference for Gavis and his family to have food, medicine and shelter. Any amount helps. As we learned $100 will buy beans and rice to feed the whole family for a month.
It is not easy to ask for your help. We do so knowing this may not resonant with you or this may not be the right time to donate. We understand. And if you do feel compelled to give, your generosity will be felt across the world and received with gratitude.
