Surviving Holsapple Family

Hi, my name is Brian and I am starting a GoFundMe for the surviving family members of Penn Holsapple who tragically died on Sunday October 16th. The Husband and father of three children was a U.S Army helicopter pilot. But the dangers of his military service would not be the cause of his passing. Tragically, he was taken from us while doing something he loved. Penn was one of my fellow brothers/teammate on the Soccer field who collapsed on the field in the middle of the game. Players rushed to perform CPR on Penn while waiting for the EMT's to arrive. There were moments when Penn showed signs of being revived like a gasp for air only to go limp again. This occurred a few times while players alternated with chest compressions. Ambulance EMT's arrived and used a defibrillator and other life-saving equipment in their efforts to revive him. Penn was then transported in the ambulance to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. We are stunned and confused as this is a shocking and devasting event for all but especially his family. The soccer team and close friends are contributing/donating to this GoFundMe to help the family with funeral costs. I will try to add updated information as events unfold.
