HELP Jamie and Jax in Their Fight for Safety

14 weeks ago I left a 8 year domestic violence relationship with my 3 year old son. Right now we are unfortunately in more danger than we have ever been! I currently have a protective order against my ex boyfriend.

He broke the protective order the weekend of October 12, 2024.

I informed the police who went to arrest him & when he refused to open the door & after trying to flee it’s my understanding they were ready to break the door down, but were concerned about the guns in the home & they made a decision that me & my child were not in immediate danger due to the age of threats (texts from a few months ago) not realizing failing to arrest him after all that has now put me & my son in more danger than we have ever been! My ex partner of 8 years will 100% kill me if he can figure out a way to get away with it! And if he believes he’s lost his child I believe he won’t care if he gets away with it!

In 2017 he beat the hell out me, I refused to press charges & his ex wife & my father & sister pressured the police department to file charges but I never showed up & they were forced to close the case.

I am terrified & I struggle functioning, I need financial help for day to day finances as well as help for a bulldog attorney! I was able to get one for the protective order through Utah county legal aid & unfortunately they aren’t taking custody cases at the moment. I’m just praying this nightmare ends soon!

The protective order was finalized on Oct 2 & was not even in the system when I called to report the violation.

I will do everything in my POWER to raise my son to be the BEST MAN, & i need some help!
