A Life-Changing Accident — Asking for a Little Help During Recovery
Hi, my name is Eduardo, and I’m not someone who ever imagined creating a page like this. But after the accident I experienced, I’ve realized that sometimes life leaves you with no choice but to ask for help — and I’m doing that now with as much honesty and humility as I can.

On April 16th, 2025, I was in a terrible car accident. I wasn’t speeding or doing anything reckless — just driving. The road suddenly turned to dirt, and before I could react, I lost control. The car hit a tree, flipped, and I was thrown from the driver’s seat into the back. Everything happened in seconds, but the aftermath has changed my life in ways I’m still trying to process.

Thankfully, no one else was involved in the accident — it was just me in the car. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance with deep cuts from my face to my chest and arms — over 50 stitches in total. More seriously, my pelvis was fractured in five places, with one fracture misaligned. The pain was overwhelming, but I know it could’ve been even worse — and I’m truly grateful to be alive.

I’ve been going through physical therapy ever since. I rely on a wheelchair and crutches to get around and do my best to take it one day at a time. Recovery is slow, but I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and focused.

My auto insurance is helping with some expenses, but since we haven’t heard back from the insurance company yet, I want to have some emergency funds available to cover everything just in case. The only thing not covered so far is the cost of having the car junked.

If you’re in a position to help — even just by sharing this — it would mean the world to me. I’m not asking for anything more than I truly need to keep moving forward and continue healing. Your support, no matter the size, would be an incredible blessing during this time.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring. I’m holding on to hope, doing the work to recover, and I’ll never forget the kindness shown to me along the way.

With gratitude,
Eduardo S
