Hello everyone, this is Eddie Valles reaching out to all of my family and friends. This is something that I would not normally do. I do feel quite embarrassed to ask. So, here it goes!

I’ve been out of work since 6/17/22. My last paycheck was 6/24/22. I’ve exhausted all of my savings account over $20,000.00

as most of you know I have a fighting spirit with a positive vibe and energy to match.

Though my left leg may be amputated

I have not let that get me down until recently as this past month has affected my mental health and psyche. I normally bring home $5k a month. I’m grateful that my company has held my position for me, while I transition to my new way of life.

I had 2 disability policies but those are both null and void due to my previous preexisting health conditions. Both disability claims have been denied, just like my prosthetic leg. I will get a decision on my leg on 10/27/22 a day before my birthday!

I feel like the medical and insurance companies have let me down. I understand and I get it. I don’t like it but like everything else I’ve accepted it.

I was also denied SSDI as an amputation does not meet the criteria for disability. I don’t know what else to do until I get back on my feet and back to work.

Please find it in your heart to assist me in this regard as my wife and I would be greatly appreciative. My wife is currently working 6 days a week and 12 hour days totally 72 hours a week and it is physically killing her beyond exhaustion. We currently have no life right now as we are now in survival mode. We do not want to lose or sell our house. All monies will be used for monthly financial necessities.
