Survival of Gazan family in South Africa

A Palestinian family from Gaza, the head of their family, Dr. Bahaa El-Din Ahmed Al-Khalidi, a dentist, his family members, his wife and his two children ( Ahmed, six years old, and Kenda three years old).

We lived through the scourge of the siege on Gaza and its isolation from the world. We defied all circumstances in order to become a family. We stayed up all night in order to create a private dental clinic and build our house. In the morning of one day we woke up to the sounds of explosions and the war on Gaza has began .

the process of destroying our hopes and our future has began. We were displaced, like the rest of the people of Gaza, from the Jabalia camp where we used to live located in the north of Gaza all the way to Rafah in the south. We did not find shelter for us, so we returned to Tal al-Zaatar in the north. Then we woke up on the fiftieth day of the war and were displaced and saved with our lives. And our children, we left behind our home, our clinic, and all our dreams and memories to Rafah in the south again, then we were displaced to Khan Yunis, then to Nuseirat in the central region, and then the central region was threatened, including Nuseirat, and we were displaced to Rafah again, and we lived in displacement tents, then moved to live in in a garage of a car workshop, and we were exposed to injuries due to... The Israeli army bombed the area, and on the 180th day of the war, we were able to leave the Gaza Strip to Egypt in order to complete the treatment trip. After we were informed of the loss of all the clinic’s possessions, including equipment, the loss of all possessions, furniture, and household appliances, and the loss of our small house, we traveled from Egypt to the country of South Africa, because it is The only country that does not require a visa in order to enter it. We are now located in the country of South Africa in the city of Pretoria. We have no one but God.

We have lost everything we own and we hope to start our lives with a small project in order to support these innocent children because in order to work in dentistry we need Expenses and a lot of government paper work and the equivalent of certificates, and practicing the profession requires at least two years. In order to support ourselves, we decided to create a small project, which is a small mobile restaurant for fast food and a mobile trailer. This requires a good amount of money in order to start a decent life and in order to rent a house and equip it with furniture.
