Update: As of early 03-05-26 with heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Father, Grampie, Friend, and Husband.
He was a faithful servant of God, a shepherd to many, and a true example of Christ’s love. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the souls he led to the Lord, and the faith he imparted to his family and church. We find comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of our Savior.
During this difficult time, we are also preparing for funeral and memorial arrangements. If you feel led to continue supporting, donations will go toward helping our family cover funeral and related expenses. Every prayer, share, and contribution means so much to us.
Please keep our family and church family in your prayers during this time.
Our family is currently facing one of the hardest seasons of our lives. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread to the bones. While he is now on hospice care, he continues to fight daily and is still receiving dialysis treatments.
Through it all, we are choosing to trust Jesus and His will. We don’t always understand the timing or the path, but we believe God is present in every appointment, every hard conversation, and every quiet moment at his bedside. We are praying for peace, comfort, strength, and for God’s perfect will to be done.
As we prepare our hearts and support our dad during this time, we are also facing physical pain, emotional exhaustion, and financial strain as work hours have shifted to care for him, but through it all, we are choosing to trust Jesus and His will. We may not understand the “why,” but we know Who walks with us.
Most of all, we ask that you stand with us in faith. We trust that God is still writing this story.
“Lord, Your will be done.”
Thank you for loving us, praying for us, and holding us up during this time.
We are so thankful for every prayer, message, and visit. The love surrounding our family right now truly means everything.
As his condition progresses, his bad days are becoming more frequent than his good ones. His pain has been more constant, and even short periods of activity can leave him extremely uncomfortable and exhausted.
Because of this, we kindly ask that all visits be kept to 30 minutes or less, especially on his harder days. Short, calm visits help him preserve his energy and stay as comfortable as possible.
Please continue to call ahead before coming by, as some days he may be having dialysis or in a deep sleep. We promise it’s never personal it’s simply about managing his pain and protecting his strength.
Thank you for understanding, respecting these boundaries, and continuing to hold us close in prayer. Your support means more than words can express. God bless
