It is hard to find the right words when a family we love so dearly goes through something this heavy. On 2/23, our wonderful friends, brother and sister in Christ, Kenneth and Lok, walked through every homeowner's nightmare. A fire broke out in their garage and spread with heartbreaking speed, taking their garage, all three of their vehicles, and leaving their home—the place they put so much love and made so many memories—unsafe to stay in. In the middle of this difficult time, we praise our Heavenly Father that everyone, even puppy Flash, is safe and unharmed (but shaken). Things can be replaced, but our friends cannot. Still, the reality is that they've lost nearly everything they own.

Kenneth and family have always been the first to step up and serve others. The couple is so proud of their children, who are both currently away reaching major milestones in their lives: their son is currently away in military, and their daughter is studying in college. Because both of their children are away, the entire physical and emotional burden of reclaiming their home and rebuilding their lives from scratch rests solely on this couple's shoulders.

While their son stands on the front lines for our country, we want to stand in the gap for his parents. Let us shower them with our prayers and supports. Our hope is to help them navigate the many unforeseen expenses that insurance often misses and the immediate costs of necessities and rebuilding their lives. Please join us in supporting this family as they face the aftermath of this devastating fire. Every prayer, message, and contribution—no matter the size—will make a difference.
