We are raising funds to support our dear friend Lora after the sudden loss of her husband, Ethan, on February 6.

Lora is an amazingly strong person who has battled with anxiety, trauma, and chronic medical conditions throughout her life. Her strength is in part due to her past traumas and her hard work to overcome them. Unfortunately, the loss of Ethan contains a myriad of new tragedies for her to contend with. Even though accepting help is hard for her, she will need our support going forward.

Ethan worked tirelessly to keep Lora safe, both mentally and physically. Safe from COVID, safe from chemicals, she was what he cared for most. This fund continues Ethan's love for Lora as she begins to put the pieces back together.

As Lora stressed in her Memorium to Ethan, mental health must be a higher priority in our culture. Her own mental health included. These funds can help her pay the out-of-pocket expenses for needed specialists. They can give her some financial space to figure out her next step. This fund can help Lora find a safe place to live, a challenge as Lora's MCS makes her sick from common household toxins and construction materials. Finally, this fund can help cover some of the many expenses that she shared with her husband.
