As many of you know, Kathy has been living with stage 4 terminal cancer for some time. Recently, she was told that her time is limited. Right now, our focus is no longer on treatments or timelines, but on comfort, safety, and peace.

As her body grows weaker, even the simplest daily tasks have become harder. Stairs is something most of us don’t think twice about however for Kathy they are now a real obstacle and a safety risk. What matters most is that she can remain in her home, surrounded by familiarity, love, and dignity.

A chair lift would allow Kathy to move safely within her home, reduce the risk of falls, and preserve her independence during these weeks. It’s a simple piece of equipment, but it would make an enormous difference in her day to day life. Unfortunately, this is not something insurance is provide at this time.
