Surrey Events Week 2025

The University of Surrey Christian Union is raising money towards a target of £2,500 for our events week from the 17th to 21st of February 2025.

Our events week is the best opportunity of the year for every student to hear the good news about Jesus through a week of outreach events. We will reach out to our campus with a week of lunchtime and evening talks with a meal included and a chance for discussion. We also have an afternoon cafe where conversations can continue and students can relax and connect with CU members.

The talks cover a range of relevant social issues in engaging ways and connect faith with life, linking back to the gospels. We will have a range of speakers from local churches including Tom Stubbings, the Ministry Apprentice and Student's Team Leader from King's Church Guildford.

The week will cost us approximately £4,620 to run in total. £3,600 of this will go towards catering, with the rest of the cost consisting of publicity and free to take Christian books.

To make our vision for for the week feasible we need to raise a further £2,500. and we expect to raise £1,000 from our student promise auction in February. We would love to invite you to join us on our mission to reach our campus with the gospel and give to help us put on this Events Week.
