Suri Chanales ז"ל Memorial Fund

Suri Chanales was a beloved savti, mother, aunt, sister, cousin, wife and teacher. She spent over 30 years educating students with love and patience. As a special education teacher she was committed to helping all learners connect with the warmth of Torah and mitzvot. She knew long before it was popular, that teaching was truly about connecting with students and finding ways to give each individual what they needed. She consistently spoke of the respect and dignity teachers deserved and bemoaned the way they were some times treated in the community.
Her family is setting a fund to:
1) Support all learners in Jewish day schools
2) Support initiatives to increase the respect and dignity of teachers in the Jewish community
