Surgical Technician's brain tumor

Donation protected

On June 6th, 2024 I had one of the most deadly brain tumors removed from deep in my right frontal lobe. Since that operation I have lost most of the functional use of my left arm. Due to getting pneumonia (and being rehospitalized for another five days) I'd barely begun outpatient chemo/radiation when I feel very at home--twice in one night. As I cannot safely tolerate outpatient treatment, and there are virtually no viable in patient treatment options available to us we have decided to withhold treatment, and have opted (for the time being) home hospice care. Neither my wife nor I are currently able to work, and while we do have some monies coming in we're also starting to out-strip our cash flow. Furthermore, we beginning to face an onslaught of medical and have no way of forecasting our future living expenses/required medical expenses. Trained in the military in 1984, I have operated in hospitals in Texas, California, Colorado, and now New York. I have assisted surgeons perform many thousands of operations while always seeking to provide the highest quality of care possible. I have a fatal brain tumor, and my entire family is seeking to stay afloat while the tumor runs it's deadly race against me, and time. I ask you from the very depth of my heart and soul- please be generous with your giving. I have spent my entire career helping others. Our needs are real, and our situation dire. We are truly grateful for any kindness you can offer. Thank you, and God bless you and your loved ones. Respectfully,
