Surgical Fund for Marginalized African Igbo Women

Covid-19 and the Western African life has left financial destruction in its path for marginalized communities.  Igbo Women with Children, especially widowed, are at the top of this target group.  They can’t pay their bills.  No insurance.  No savings.  Nothing.  To help, our Africa Health and Agriculture Foundation has initiated  the “Surgical Fund for Marginalized African Women" in Igboland (Southeast Nigeria).  It simply helps pay the bills.  Surgeries, even complex ones, range in cost from $90-500.

Here is what the surgical fees list looks like.....

1) Appendisectomy $145
2) Herniorrahphy $195
3) C-Section to have a baby $500
4) Laporotomy $520
5) Myomectomy $740 depending on the tumor
6) Minor surgeries - Small Breast lumps $90
7) Ovarian cystectomy $390

You can see that these are 20 to 50 times less expensive Vs. a similar surgery in the USA.  So they are affordable with your help!

We are funding surgeries at a Women’s Hospital in Igboland, named Mater Dei.

Our AHAF-USA Inc. Foundation is already scraping everything together that we have to get this off the ground.  Many grateful women have already benefited.  We want to ramp it up with your support!  Everything you donate will go 100% directly to helping pay for women’s surgeries, that they couldn’t afford otherwise.

All of your donations are tax deductible under the USA tax law.  AHAF-USA Inc. (85-0729164) is a charitable non-profit 501c3.  You can learn more about AHAF-USA and the work we are doing with the Surgical Fund at https://ahaf-usa.org/women’s-surgical-fund
