Even though the surgery date got moved back the surgery day is approaching fast! We have to travel up to San Francisco the week of August 15th for preop appointments and surgery is on August 15th. The surgeons are saying I will be in the hospital for 1-3 days.

They want me to stay in town for a few days after surgery so we will be staying in a hotel approximately 3 days after discharge. As you can imagine a week out of town is going to be costly especially because we have to get a rental car, hotel, food etc. Any donations are greatly appreciated, God bless you.

After over a decade of trying to find answers as to what was causing my pain in September of 2024 I had a laparoscopic surgery to diagnose and excise endometriosis. The doctor that performed the surgery did not feel comfortable excising anything due to the severity of the disease. The endometriosis has grown onto my uterer, bowels and abdominal wall making me stage 4. I had an appointment with an excision specialist today that is located in San Francisco that can perform the surgery alongside 2 other skilled surgeons. She is aiming for me to come down to her office for more imaging/labs within the next couple of weeks and for surgery to be 2-3 months from now.

I really need this surgery to save my left kidney and portions of my ascending colon. I've been in pain for so long and having this surgery is the only thing that can help. Although, this will financially take a toll on my family. Traveling, food, hotel, the time my husband has to take off work, and the copays/deductibles are going to be insane.
