Surgery Support for the Rigsby’s
Donation protected
After a few years of struggling with Ménière’s disease and vestibular migraines, I’ve finally got a surgery scheduled to remove a golf ball sized mass off the back of my neck.
Repeatedly trying different drugs, injections, and therapies just isn’t working for me.
What the Dr’s have determined and agreed upon is that the mass is sitting on one of my occipital nerves, which runs up my neck and into my scalp and the pressure keeps me in a migraine state most of the day.
I sleep a few hours, wake up in pain, pass out again, wake up in pain again. It’s just a horrible vicious cycle that never ends.
Luckily, I’ve kept my job and benefits, but I’ve had very little income coming in on my end. Kerri has had to carry a lot of the burden and we honestly just need a helping hand.
I hate asking, but a little help for the next 6 weeks or so would be so helpful to us and our family.
I would love for Kerri to be able to take some time off to help take care of me and not be stressed about money. Recovery should only be a few weeks and then I’ll be able to work again. But I know a big medical bill will be just around the corner.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We love you and appreciate any help and blessings you send our way.
