Recover from surgery, seizure and financial loss.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Doug, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit.
Recently, I underwent surgery to remove a tumor from my head due to a condition I’ve lived with called Neurofibromatosis. It’s a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, and this time, it affected my head.
The surgery was intense, and while I’m grateful it was successful, my recovery has been far from easy. Shortly after the operation, I suffered a bad seizure, which set my healing back and added even more complications to an already difficult time.
Because of all this, I’ve been unable to work for an extended period—and now I’m behind on bills, and basic living expenses. I’ve always been someone who pushes through, but right now, I simply can’t do it alone.
I’m humbly asking for your support to help me with:
• Past due utilities
• Out-of-pocket medical expenses and basic essentials for myself and my 5 kids. This isn’t easy to ask, but any donation—no matter the size—would help lift a huge weight off my shoulders as I focus on healing, both physically and emotionally. Even just sharing this page with your friends and family means more than you know.
Thank you for reading, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, love, and kindness.
With gratitude, Doug.
