Surgery return trip gone wrong. Plz help Mom & Son get home.

Where to start?
We are from Whitehorse, Yukon.
My son had a scheduled surgery at BC Children Hospital on July 26th. To which we had to drive to, as he can not fly for medical reasons. We had to stay a while longer after, because of post surgery complications.
When we had to leave Vancouver in early August, there was a huge landslide at the Chilcotin River, and the landslide blocked the river, which was now raising.
The news were warning that the whole Fraser Valley was about to shut down for the risks predicted when the river would breach through the 30 metre high landslide, so we had to detour through Calgary to be on our way home, and as Jasper highway was also still closed, due to the ongoing situation there at the time.
Then, an hour away from Calgary we had to detour through a gravel road, and a big rock hit the under of our van in a very bad way. Our van is now broken down since August 10th. It is still in Olds, Alberta. (Spark plug and valve (internal) on our E-350 van. Requires motor to be pulled out, fuel rail removed, exhaust removed etc; its a big job.
On September 4th, someone had finally been able to come pick us up so we could go back home.
By that time, I had now all the content of the van in a trailer (freezer and all.. Freezer because my son has special need diet that he could never find nutrients for in take-out and restaurants)
Anyhow. We were so happy and relieved that we were now heading home.
But a few hours into the ride, we hit a moose full front, leaving both the moose and our ride's f350 truck as total losses..
I was injured in the accident, but no one else was.
The straps from the canoe tied up to the roof stopped the moose from getting through the windshield.
At this time, I really thought this moose coming flying at us was the very last thing I would ever see.
We have been stranded (in Alberta since, and still) , now in the bush, 20 km away from cellphone tower, no land-line either, but with some patchy starlink internet from adjecent house that we can access when it works. We are also about 1 1/2 hour drive from the closest small town.
It is now October 27th, and we are still stuck and in need to get home.
There are no busses, no trains and no horse carriages to bring us home either. (Got to laugh a little, what else is there to do)
We are just about to lose everything back home in the Yukon, and we are refused help in Alberta, because we are not residents, and the Yukon government is telling us that it is not their mandate to help us since we are not in the Yukon.
Long story short, cutting down on the politics of all this, we need to make it home, some 2000km from here and we are at the end of our financial means.
Vehicle Repairs $5000, fuel $1500, hotel rooms and restaurants for 3-4 days, as we have been exhausting all we had and stretched our already tight budget to eat and survive for the past 2.5 months, without being able to even access any emergency funds for either vehicle repairs, shelter, or food.
I also left room to cover for the gofundme fees that will be taken off the total of fundraised monies.
But really, at this point, anything will help.
This was suppose to be a paid for medical travel, but I am in instance of appealing the denial for us to get funding to get back home.
Funnily, we were approved the funding to go to the surgery in the first place. It is still unclear as to why we were refused travel back. It doesn't make any sense.
So this appeal to have our trip back home covered can take a long time to be done with, and get an answer about it, as it is all still in the works to get it all gathered together, then the review of it will also take some time.
We don't have time to wait any longer, steanded in an astranged province. We need to make it home as soon as possible and have a good night sleep in our beds. Plus, we can no longer stay where we are at either.
It took me lots to put this gofundme up as I know the stigma that surrounds a fundraiser. This really is our last resort right now.
Please help us get home, it has been a very long strange trip and time far away from home.
Please share..
Just as I teach my son that Sharing is Carying, even only sharing this here, it well might be of very significant help to us.. ❤️
Thank you for your help, your time and your understanding.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
This fundraiser is for my son and I to make it home.
Again, thank you.
