I am getting top surgery on 4/25. I’m lucky to qualify for financial aid making my surgery free, but I only have enough PTO/sick pay to cover the surgery and 2 weeks of recovery.

If I end up needing more time to recover, I will be completely without income.

I unfortunately don’t have much in savings because I tend to be too generous for my own good, so I’m hoping that generosity will be reciprocated in my time of need. If I am able to go back to work, the money will go towards my emergency fund since surgery will completely wipe out my PTO/sick pay.
