Hi All, my name is Kirsten and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In early 2020 my dad John was riding his motorcycle in Key West, Florida where lives, and he went to stop and say hello to a friend he spotted but little did he know that a construction crew had left a 9" hole in the road partially uncovered exactly where he was about to put his foot down. This construction oversight caused him to lose balance and try to catch himself while his 700lb. touring bike to landed on top of him. He's undergone neck, back, knee, and elbow surgeries and still has more to go. Everything is also a bit more complicated for him because he lives on a boat by himself, aside from his best mate, his cat Mate.

Unfortunately, I just found out by the copied Facebook post below that he is going though a serious financial hardship due to all of this. I'd like to help him raise the funds to cover his medical deductible for 2021 (at the least) so that he can get back to getting the surgeries he needs to get his body back in action and moving forward with his life goals.

My dad has spent his entire life helping random people and it'd be truly great to see random people helping him this time around.

I’ve been the helper most of my life! My life was flipped 180 with a motorcycle accident going zero mph and no one else involved. Had back, neck, left elbow n right knee. More needed ASAP but I’m tapped out.

I have insurance but have a $4,000 deductible and have held off with needed surgeries as lack of funds as NOT working due to this. I’ve skipped meal and gotten by with very little.

Most of my life I’ve given and now I’m asking for ur help.
