Hello, my name is Kevin (28), I'm a freelance Esports worker and a content creator.
SURGERY + RECOVERY
April 24th was the day of my first ever surgery - due to being diagnosed with level 4/5 phimosis + BXO I had to be circumcised for health reasons.
Initially thought the recovery would take a few days before returning to normal life activity but some complications have happened.
30% of the stitched area had a wound dehiscence that is still closing under second intention healing, extreme sensitivity in the frenulum/glans that has definitely gone down.
What makes me currently 'disabled' on the path to 3 months is the big wound closure that is on its final healing form - thankfully the sensitivity part is manageable.
Went a bit deeper through text context as I don't really feel comfortable in sharing pictures of the recovery process.
FINANCIAL ISSUES
As mentioned previously, being a freelancer means I get paid based on the work I do instead of having a safety net.
I am still in bed until the wound closes, which unfortunately made me lose around 3500€ of guaranteed income through casting, streaming and different team offers that I was forced to reject due to still being disabled - apart from the surgery and recovery costs.
A physical/mental war during my traumatic recovery has begun to tighten my financial stability which is why I'm asking for help to whoever wants and is able to.
DONATION COMPENSATION
I wouldn't feel okay to receive the money and not being able to payback in some way, so I am committing into shifting the whole donated money into an upcoming Subathon timer in September or October to at least gaslight my brain that I earned it.
1€ = 4 minutes of added time

CONCLUSION
Even if you can't help financially, I already appreciate the time you took to read the story and I would appreciate even more if you can at least share it for more people to read.
2026 has been wildly unreal and unlucky but I believe it will become better.
Thank you!
